My Blog Was Given An Award and I Got A Job-All In One Day.
Yes, this little blog, so humble in its writings, was given an award today, from Leigh of Eternal-Flux. What is the award, you ask? None other than the Bodacious Blog award.

Isn’t it grand? It’s been a good day so far. I had an interview this morning at 11, I ended up being late because every mapping site I tried gave me the same directions-which, of course were wrong. However, after my interview I felt confident. I received the call tonight-I got the job and I start Monday. I’ll be working for a company which handles POS systems for pizza places in the US and Canada, taking help desk calls. The salary is low at first, but within 3 months, if they feel I’m right for the job, I’ll get a $5000 raise. There is one problem. I will have to go to on-site training in Canada, for which I’ll need a passport, which costs $97 plus and extra $15, ($112), to have my picture taken and placed on it at the post office. So, my TopSpots and another little donation section I am going to set up, will be used to fund my passport. At $5 for the TopSpots and $3, (because of PayPal fees), for the other donation option, well, it’s a good deal. You get a link and help me get a passport, for Canada, of all places. Oh and I start work Monday, so my day-time blogging hours will be cut down. I’m a night blogger anyway, so this really shouldn’t be too big of a deal.
On another note, the Blog A Day will resume after the holidays. With being sick, not receiving emails through DreamHost/GMail and doing a little work off and on for my uncle I fell so behind it was hard to catch up. If Leigh still wants to take a few that are way past due, I’ll email her the URLs and she will add them to her blog and I’ll finish the remaining. Yes, you may still submit your blog for Blog A Day, it will just take a few weeks. Remember- you receive linky-love by submitting your blog. To those of you who are waiting, I apologize. Your sites will receive what was promised.

Congrats on the job! Be careful in Canada though, I here they let the mooses run wild.

I prefer to call them “meese” just because it pisses people off. In fact, I think that’s the first thing I’ll ask when I get off the plane, “Where’s the meese at?”
Congrats. Your says your only income was through your blog, impressive.
