Today’s Blog A Day comes to us from India-a half a world away, but full of information if you’re looking for ways to monetize your blog, blogging tips, and tools. The owner of Blog Avenues, Malathy, is a Math lecturer and blogs for both fun and money. She is also involved in several blogging sites dedicated to Indian women and their causes.

After reading through her blog, I came across a post which caught my eye- Recommend Articles To Your Readers. I haven’t heard anything about this service before and I plan on checking it out. If you don’t have time to blog, you can recommend other blogs for your readers to view, for example, blogs from your own blogroll. She has quite a few more tips on her blog, how to gain more traffic and readers, new widgets, blog carnivals and blog directories. The only issue I had with her blog, the yellow font on a blue background. My eyes need checked, so reading such a bright color on a dark background was a little tough on my eyes. But, Blog Avenues is a good read and worth taking a look.
