I will be hosting the next postie carnival on November 12. I have given much thought to the topic of the carnival and since Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, I came up with an idea. We have posties from all over the world and not all of us celebrate Thanksgiving. However, Thanksgiving means family and being thankful for everything you have in life, your health, your job, the love of family-which brings me to the topic. What does “family” mean to you? Do you consider only blood relatives family? Or, do you see friends and other loved ones a part of your family as well, (even pets). How do you feel your life would be like if you had no one to call “family?” I know it’s a broad topic and you can write about anything you wish, from something that happened during childhood to the present, as long as it revolves around how having a family has enriched your life. Since I’m a little new to this, bear with me, I’ll probably have questions, but, as always, submit your posts!
