Big Brother, Life And Blogging.

I know everyone is asking- “Where has Beth been?” Well, I’ve been around. Life gets in the way of blogging at times and I have really needed the break. I’m still addicted to Big Brother 8 and I’m going to continue to blog.

Through the weekend I will be doing a massive clean up of posts, comments and a new theme. My ratings are slipping, (oh no, life is over), and I want to bring something fresh to my writing and the overall content of this little blog. I have quite a few emails to catch up on from blogging friends- don’t worry I’ll work those in this weekend as well. Summer is almost over-thank goodness because the heat is almost unbearable here, (104 one day-broke a record) and I’m settling in for a long winter of blogging fun. Can you see my excitement? Really, it’s there- I just need to get motivated once again. Stay tuned, folks, hopefully I’ll have everything up and running smoothly by Monday.

Yesh, I have been like “man, where are you Beth!?!”. I look forward to the new look and the post cleanup and all. I’m excited for you. You’re pretty good at this blogging thing, keep it up.

Gonna hold you to that! :)

  4. I started watching Big Brother 8 about halfway through… right about when they had the episode with the challenge involving slides and kiddie pools (I think there was spaghetti in the pools? LOL). Anyways, I had never watched Big Brother before… and now I’m sucked into it too!!! Fun show…

Big Brother is cult I’ve left. I watched one series fairly regularly, then I kinda cared about a 2nd one, then by the 3rd I was totally over it. In fact at that point the press coverage got annoying.

I’ve found a lot of people are in the same boat as me; a series or two until bored. But there is that 10% of the population that need their brother crack!

Ah…Big Brother..I am also sucked into it … Life is boring without it :(

I’ve kind of lost my enthusiasm for Big Brother. It was cool to begin with but a think the whole reality tv epidemic has become a bit stale as of late.

  8. Goyin says:

nah, i disagree with chamonix. reality tv is still on its up and up.

I’ve been slacking with blogging too. I’ve been so busy with the baby and his new activities that all I ever do anymore is putz around on stumbleupon. Can’t wait to see the new you though. It’s been a while since I’ve visited.

I can totally relate. I live in the south, have a website, and a couple of blogs myself; as well as raising two grandchildren. I guess that’s why i love Maxine so very, very much. I’ve decided I’m going to use her Living Will as my very own, if that’s okay.
As for Big Brother 8, 7, 6, etc., haven’t missed much…fell this year and partically tore the rotator cuff in my left shoulder, as if I didn’t already have enough problems…but I don’t miss Big Brother for anything.
God Bless and keep up the great work.

Aha, I see a template change, YOU’RE ALIVE!!

  15. Big Brother addiction seemingly never goes away. We’re still craving more…sucks we have to wait so long for BB9. But apparently Evel Dick is getting offers to do his own show, now that would be interesting!
