I’ve been tagged by Ali at Everybody Go To to list 8 things you don’t know about me. I’m pretty much an open book and I’ve posted quite a bit about myself over the last 2 years, but hey, I’ll give it a go.

The rules:

1. I have 8 ear piercings, but only wear 6.
2. My dad wanted to name me Charlotta and call me “Lottie.” What the?
3. A distant, (very distant) relative on my dad’s side of the family was the first person to be hanged in what is now West Virginia. He killed his wife, put on her shoes and walked down a riverbank making it look as if she had walked to the river herself and committed suicide. Somewhere I have a copy of his death certificate.
4. The ancestory on my mother’s side were originally Norse Vikings who migrated to Scotland. We’ve traced our history back to the 5th century and have connections, (by marriage), to the current royal family.
5. I love the smell of Prell shampoo and buy it just to use as a body wash.
6. I don’t like steak.
7. When I was 8 I wrote an essay on what fads were popular at the time. It was picked to go into a time capsule to be opened in the year 2000. I have no idea if it was ever opened.
8. I used to be terrified of thunderstorms, (I still am at times).
