When you live in the country it’s expected. It has never mattered the type of mailboxes we have bought, they have always managed to be hit and mangled within a week or two. Today, no different. When I left for work this morning I noticed the mailbox, which rests on a wood stake, leaning to the side a little. I didn’t have time to inspect it so I waited until I came home. Apparently, a few kids were bored last night and decided to play baseball-the box has a huge dent on the side. One of these days, I swear- I will put out a mailbox that looks plastic, but in reality is solid steel. Then we’ll see who wins the game.
