The Next Steps-Technorati.
I had no idea the process of adding people would become so overwhelming. I know I haven’t added everyone to my faves yet- Technorati decided to be slow this morning/tonight so I’m not quite finished. However, I am getting there and the next step will be to add blogs to my feed reader. The only criteria I will be looking for- is consistency. If a blog has not been updated in two weeks or longer, I won’t add your feed. I will keep check on my favorites page and once a blog seems to breathing new life, I will add it.
I finally have another laptop. I like it a little better than the HP- the one thing I miss are the volume/DVD controls above the keyboard. The screen is wider which is nice and it doesn’t run as hot, (remember I now have a Gateway), but I did buy a cooling pad from Wal Mart and I must say- I’m impressed with the performance. The two fans cool the hard drive and allow air to flow. A nice deal for $25. It is now 5am, I have the interview of a lifetime at 3pm so, I need rest. For those of you who wish, say a little prayer that I get the job because I need something to prove I’m worthy in the workplace.

Seems a bit like gaming a broken system to me. The only question in my mind is what use to you or me is a list of n hundred favs that I/you/we/they never look at? I have no idea how technorati will deal with this but they will notice eventually. I’ve net seen the point of all this fuss myself but if anyone can enlighten me…

Matt: No one is gaming anything. It was an experiment to see if the favorites system really worked. What use is it? I have now found additional blogs to read. That is the point. Perhaps you wouldn’t look at the blogs you favorite, but I have and will.

Dash: lol the first thing I’m doing if I get the job-is to move out of this hell hole I’m in now. The interview went well, yet when I say this I never get the job. I just want someone to see that I’m worth more than making sure someone has toilet paper in their bathroom.
