The Back Beard, According To Dilbert’s Blog And Me.

I read Dilbert’s Blog when I get a chance and tonight, after getting my feed reader up and running on my sleek new laptop, I imported most of my feeds. He has a post about spotting a new trend, the back beard. He isn’t the first to see this fashion faux pas. I have lived in West Virginia my entire life- I have seen more than my share of back beards. Sure, the rednecks can’t afford the fancy salon-groomed back beards like the elite-but they try. Bless their hearts do they ever try. The next time you see a man wearing a white t-shirt with a bunch of hair crawling from the back-don’t assume a full back of hair. It may very well be a back beard. Groomed or unruly, it isn’t a pleasant site. Warm weather is approaching, armed with my cell phone camera, my goal is to find an unsuspecting redneck and capture this new phenomenon.

  1. Ugh, I think beards are the worst. Like the ZZtop one’s. Closely manicured ones can be an asset but….not the wild ones.
