Dogs Need Style Too.

I’ll admit I’ve always wanted a small dog for the soul purpose of dressing her, or him up in stylish clothes and jewelry. Sounds a little sick doesn’t it? Well it isn’t. It’s no different than dressing a human child in designer clothes, or getting your little girl’s ears pierced. The hotel I work at is pet friendly and recently we had quite a few pet lovers staying with us. One woman dressed her dog in a different outfit every morning- just for her walk. A little much? Perhaps. But she was still adorable. My mom’s dog hates to wear clothing and I was thinking about buying her a charm dog collar from BigPawDesigns.com so she could impress the other neighborhood dogs when she went out on her ritual, “barking because I am queen” walk every morning. Actually, I think one with “diva” engraved on it would suit her. If I ever have the chance to get a Pug, like I want, I swear I will adorn her with this pearl dog collar, it’s too cute to pass up. Is dressing one’s dog in pearls a little much? Nahh. Not in the least.

Then I guess if I bought a pink dog carrier you’d think I was going a bit too far, huh?

I think dressing up a dog or any animal in clothing is cruel and unusual punishment. But that’s just me.
