Down To The Wire: Who Will Win The Wine?

Enough W’s in the title? With a few days left, Mr. Fabeolicious, in their quest to win a bottle of West Virginia’s finest wine. That’s right- West Virginia has a winery. I’m betting we have a few illegal wineries as well, but the Forks Of Cheat winery is the most notable. So, to blueyes and Fabeo- take a gander at the site and start deciding on which flavor of wine you want.

No, I’m Not Qualified, But I’m Applying.

Day after day I search the newspapers and online job sites hoping, sometimes beyond hope, I will come across the perfect job. The one job who will- well, call me back, the job I don’t despise, the job that pays better than what I am currently making. I just applied to American Electric Power for a Planner I position. I haven’t the slightest idea what this is, I am qualified according to the job requirements and description, hence, I submitted my resume. Do/have any of you ever applied for jobs you were either not qualified for, or-had no idea what the job duties even involved? One of these days I’m going to be hired for something I am totally not qualified to do- I really need to start applying for state jobs again. Most of these people haven’t a clue either.

Is Eating This Food, Stealing?

Ok, I know the title may not make sense, but hear me out. Let’s say you work for a place which offers free food to its guests. You are told during training and I am quoting, “Feel free to eat what you want, as long as it doesn’t have to be cooked.” Would you consider eating a bowl of cereal, or a muffin, as stealing? For one, you aren’t a guest. Secondly, you’re being paid by this establishment to serve its guests, (no matter how painful this might be). How much food is too much? Three bagels? Two donuts? Why am I asking this? Because I felt guilty for eating a danish last night. Am I too honest, or would any of you feel the same?

Animal Cuteness- Two Headed Style.

First things first, I haven’t updated the theme on this blog in months, and hopefully tonight I will have time at work to finish what I need done- which is mainly adding the links etc to the sidebars and pages. I’m going for a cleaner style, less jumbled. I will probably put blogroll links on a separate page to cut down on the load time-but for those blogrolls which require a link on the home page, don’t fret- I’ll link to your main site. On a cuter note…

Am I the only one who finds this pig adorable? I would totally keep it as a pet.
