Since I am at work, (came in at 3am, felt sorry for my boss since she worked audit all weekend not to mention I want the extra money), I have been searching for memes to do. No one responded to my question as to whether or not anyone wanted to try another type of meme- even after offering cash and liquor, so, I’m going to find memes I find interesting. No, I’m not going to overload my blog with them- but I feel readers can get to know the person behind the blog a little better with some memes. Today, being Tuesday, I’ve decided to do the Ten On Tuesday meme.
Today’s topic: 10 Things You Would Do if You Were Younger:
1. Learn to ski.
2. Bungee jump.
3. Whitewater raft, (I still may do this even though I’m fat and 34)
4. Go backpacking in the Rockies.
5. Save money instead of spend it on stupid things.
6. Have kids.
7. Date more and not be so shy.
8. Buy a house.
9. Not sign up for credit cards.
10. Finish college. (I’m going to do this eventually).

I am blessed with patience. Because if anyone had to go through what I was going through at the moment with the living situation- they would have gone crazy a long time ago. One minute she’s normal- the next she’s nuts. I love her though- she’s my mom. But, please- let my move happen soon!

Neo-(Life Among Other Things), yes I owe you a BYB Sunday post! I promise I will have one up this evening. My sleep schedule, along with my work schedule is so messed up at the moment I’m losing track of not only the days, but what time of day it is. Hopefully, I’ll get used to this soon.
Also, to my readers and anyone passing through, I have been considering starting a one day meme for a while and with the recent announcement of the closing of the Thursday Thirteen meme, my want to do this is stronger. I don’t want to copy Thursday Thirteen in the least. I am looking for unique ideas and to the person who comes up with the best meme theme- you’ll receive $10 via PayPal. If you don’t want the cash and would prefer a bottle of West Virginia wine instead- this can be arranged. Your choice- but you have to be of age! And I Thought My Night Job Was Bad…
I was searching for a job for the hours of 8am-12pm so I could get a little extra money to pay for an apartment, gas, clothes, entertainment, you get the idea. I decided to take a look at a local job search site thinking perhaps one of the temporary agencies had something. Then I read it. The job to end all jobs:
Night Receptionist (all-night) eval/Hire
Working at funeral home nights; answering phones in professional manner, dispatch drivers for night-time pick-ups of the deceased. Must have good customer service attitude; sense of urgency. Will work weeknights and weekends as well. $8/hr.
I’m curious as to why the employee would need a sense of urgency. He and or she would be dispatching drivers to pick up dead people. Since when are dead people in such a hurry? What’s become of this world?
