I’ve been lacking on the BYB posts lately-mainly because of so much going on and not thinking clearly. Today, I was blessed with a peaceful afternoon, alone, for the first time in 3 weeks. I was also blessed, (and excited), to find a note from my mother when I awoke today telling me she had gone to her man-friend’s house. She came home all excited-and I’m quoting her, but she told him, “Some day we’re getting back together, so you better not hook up with any women.” He said, “Don’t worry, I’m not.” I felt a little relief for her because I now know she really does care for him and I’m certain he cares for her as well. It goes to show, no matter the age, love can turn your world upside-down.
