One Week To Go- Calling All Bloggers!

In one week I will turn in the gifts I have bought for the little girl I am sponsoring through my local Lions Club. Thanks to the wonderful bloggers who have already donated- I am up to $85 total. I am hoping some of you will help spread the word- link to this post on your blog and explain what I am doing. Not a penny of the donated funds will be kept by me. If any is left over, the remainder will be given to the Lions Club in order to fund the food pantry for the Holiday Season. (I’m hopeful if any funds are left over, I can request it to go to the little girl’s family for Christmas dinner). What I challenge is this: 10 people to donate $6.50 which will bring me to the $150 I want to raise. Can’t spare $6.50? Then $2 is fine. I know this time of year can be a burden on all of us financially, but think of a little girl who lives somewhere in West Virginia who may not have otherwise had a Christmas-if not for the generosity of those who have donated, and me, taking money I had held back from writing paid posts. Have you noticed more sponsored, paid posts and more advertising on this blog in the last few days? That’s because I am using the last $120 in my account in order to buy gifts and since it’s gone, and I’m moving in a month, I’ll need additional cash. Remember it takes 30 days to get paid through most of the paid post services. So, to the 3 people, (including the first idiot), who have contacted me stating it isn’t his/her responsibility to help a little girl whose parents should be responsible- get over it. Nor is the money going to me- if it were, I wouldn’t be asking people how I can improve my odds of making money from advertisements. I’m not asking for breast implants, or, to save a bus. We are all putting a smile on a little girl’s face Christmas morning. Please, spread the word. If you haven’t donated, scroll down a bit and look on the left-hand side to use the Chipin box and donate. You can use PayPal, all of your information is secure and I see nothing other than the notification. This world has become such a selfish place to live- do something, even if it’s small, to make it a little less so.
