First, I want to mention the donations I have received so far have brought me even closer to my goal! 48% there people! I will be transferring the funds via my mom’s checking account, since I currently do not have one and she will write a check to me for the total amount. I have Wal-Mart holding a doll for me- I called to check on Bratz dolls, however they are currently hard to find and I decided on the Gigi Doll, (suggested to me by the clerk who helped me on the phone- believe it or not Wal-Mart was great about it when I told them what I was doing). Once I have all of the funds I’ll go in the store and see what I can find in regards to clothing. I also thought about buying her a little pocket book and change purse- and adding a few dollars and some change- to make her feel a little extra special. I want to have an even mix of clothing and toys- kids outgrow both so fast I want items she’ll use for a while. To all of you who have donated- you have no idea how excited and appreciative I am- and I wish I could be there Christmas morning to see the smile on her face.
