Ewido Anti-Malware offers a 14-day trial, after which advanced features are disabled-but you are still allowed to scan and remove threats. If you purchase the product the only real advantage is real-time protection, however if you scan daily then you really don’t need this. I did a scan and the program did find 28 threats, (mainly tracking cookies), that Ad-Aware and SpyBot didn’t find. To scan almost 300,000 files it took approximately 32 minutes. I say-give it a try and see what you find on your system. You may be surprised.
