Thanks to whomever used me to sign up with DreamHost-I can pay next month’s fee plus I was able to register a new domain, which I am going to dedicate to rodents. Mainly rat care for now, but as I can I will probably add more little critters to the list. The new site will be Rodent Care [dot] net. Yes, original name isn’t it? I had considered using a CMS for the site, but since in the beginning stages, the site won’t have much content to manage, I’m sticking with WordPress. I’m used to it and it’s easier to configure. Luckily, using DreamHost as my host-I only had to pay 9.95 for the domain registration and nothing additional per month. This is actually the best thing that has happened to me for a while. Sad.
Busy Little Bee.
As some of you may notice, I have been busy completely re-doing the way my blog looks. I have added a currently reading section (bottom of sidebar), a game (top navigation menu-asteroids), tags and of course-the freaking donate button. So. Donate. Get with it. A dollar. Anything.
Ozzy has the sniffles-he had a trip to the bathroom so I could turn the shower on and let him breathe in the steam. My vaporizer stopped working about a month ago and no idea as to why-it’s a Vicks. Go figure. He refuses to take his Benedryl and I’ve been reduced to adding it to his cereal. The woes of motherhood.
In Other News…
My car has a leak in the hose thingie (the technical term) leading to the thingie (another technical term) which holds the antifreeze. I’ll have my mom’s car until Wednesday afternoon since I have an interview at 1pm that day, after this, I have no idea what I’m going to do for transportation. It will certainly be a while before I can even begin to think about buying a car. Isn’t life grand?
I’m watching the Olympics. Not a huge fan of the winter games-I prefer the summer Olympics. Just watching these people on ice and snow makes me freeze. I would, however, like to try the luge once. I’d most likely kill myself doing it, but it’d be one hell of a way to go. 60mph down an ice-packed track.
