My life sucks ass like a monkey sucking the insides of a banana.
Lots o’ Mountain Dew.
I haven’t been to bed. Well, I take that back. I laid there for 2 hours and got up. I’m going to try and catch 2 hours of sleep. I have to leave here by 3:30 to make sure I get through traffic etc. I’m going to post my cell number in my away message on AIM. If you know my screen name… (bethchelle) duh, give me a ring at about 2:30am eastern time. I hope to hell I don’t get too sleepy to drive home. I really don’t want to get a motel room. I’ve driven to North Carolina and back in one day on an hour of sleep before, it wasn’t easy, so maybe only an hour won’t be so bad. Night Night. :sleepy:
IE vs. Opera and Firefox.
I am well aware several of my themes do not appear correctly in Internet Explorer. Personally, I could care less. Opera and Firefox are more than capable to handle the coding which is why, when I alter the theme code, I keep this in mind. Is it difficult to code for IE? Yes, it can be so I don’t do it. I apologize to those of you who still use IE, use Firefox or Opera instead. They’re stable and more reliable in my humble opinion.
Start work at 5pm. This is why I am awake at 4am, so I can hopefully go to bed around 8am and get a few hours of sleep. Driving an hour to work isn’t something I look forward to, but until I can find a job paying what I am making at Amazon in Charleston, I’ll have to deal with it. I do have an interview early Tuesday morning for a place called Scientific Games, they handle some of the computer operator work for the West Virginia Lottery. I’m a little concerned with the interview-I have no “dress up” cool weather clothes to wear. Not to mention my nose piercing. I never posted that I got a new piercing, I’ve had it for about a month and I am not about to take it out. This is one reason why I like Amazon. As long as you do your job they don’t care what you look like, as long as you’re neat and smell good. Which is more than I can say about past jobs-Comp in particular-even though they had a business casual dress code, the hygiene of some could have used a little work. And soap. Lots of it.
Received my credit card from Capital One. A small credit limit to begin with, BUT, 0% APR until April. Can’t beat that. So, I was able to pay Dream Host. I will only use this card for gas and pay it off at the end of the month. I can rebuild and repair my credit this way-a good beginning.
