I've had so many people betray my trust over the long years, but I keep going back and trusting new people by default. Someone told me it was a dumb thing to do, but you know what? I refuse to let someone else, who isn't worth my time, change something that I like about me. From what I've read on your blog (and I still have no idea how I landed here in the first place) you've got a fantastic personality, so my advice is to curl up around those parts of yourself that you like the most and don't let any of the jerks out there make you change those.
